25th Year Celebration at Knight Academy

Knight Academy will be celebrating its 25th year anniversary on Thursday, May 1st from 1:30 – 3:30. The school began in 1982 as a back to basics magnet school. Dr. Sylvia Smith, the first principal at Knight Academy, will share the beginning of the Knight Academy story.

Fifth graders will be singing patriotic songs. Students from the Shakespeare Festival will perform their Shakespeare skits from The Merry Wives of Windsor. Second and third graders will be performing a folk dance. First graders will dance to instructions. The kindergarteners will perform “The World is a Rainbow.”
